Ex – Niger Delta Militants, Lord Onipa and General Cairo, have expressed heartfelt appreciation to President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing High Chief Dennis Burutu Otuaru (PhD) as the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme.
The declaration was made on Tuesday morning on a media outing with State Reporters Nigeria, while presenting relative matters on Leadership and the Development Agents in the Niger Delta Region. The Ex-Agitators believes that Dr. Dennis Otuaro’s mandate as Amnesty Administrator is a testament to his expertise and experience in driving development to the Niger Delta region.
They have urged all beneficiaries, leaders, and stakeholders in the Region to rally behind him.
“It is imperative that we work together to foster peace, stability, and development in the region.”
Lord Opina however, pointed out to some opinion leaders that are opposed to Otuaro’s leadership style to sheathe their swords, to give a room for collaboration, for the best interest of the regions growth.

“Those who may be opposing Dr. Otuaru’s efforts, we implore you to sheathe your swords and allow him to concentrate on his duties. With a free hand and unwavering support, Dr. Otuaru can effectively address the challenges facing the region and the beneficiaries of the Presidential Amnesty Programme.”
“We also encourage Dr. Dennis Otuaro, our dear brother, the Administrator to employ alternative dispute resolution mechanisms to foster dialogues and reconciliation among parties where there is need. By working together, we can achieve a golden prize of peace and prosperity in the Niger Delta Region.”
“As we stand at the threshold of a new era in the Niger Delta Region, we recognize the significance of High Chief Dr. Dennis Burutu Otuaru’s appointment as the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme. For the first time, one of our own who is a product of the early agitation for a better Nigeria Delta Region is at the helm, and it’s crystal clear that Dr. Otuaru is a good listener and a problem-solver.”
“However, we must acknowledge that Dr. Otuaru’s success is inextricably linked to our collective support and bargain.
