The Rivers State Police Command has arrested three students of the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) in connection with a cult clash on campus. The clash, which occurred on Thursday, was between two factions of the Vikings cult group and resulted in one student being injured with machete cuts. The federal government has finally reached an agreement with the management of Dangote Refinery on the commercial terms for the supply of crude oil to the refinery and the off-taking and distribution of petrol and diesel from the facility. The Federal Government has explained the cause of the Maiduguri flood disaster, stressing that no dam broke as initially speculated. According to the government, the recent devastating Maiduguri flood was caused by the overflow of the Ngadda River, and not collapse of the Alau Dam .
