Bill Gates, while speaking on Wednesday in Abuja, at the NEC meeting presided over by Vice President Kashim Shettima, announced a $2.8 billion investment aimed at enhancing Nigeria’s healthcare, nutrition, and agricultural sectors. The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC) has announced a significant hike in the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol, raising the cost from ₦568 to ₦855 per litre. The Executive Committee of Nigeria Football Federation has approved the recommendation of its Technical and Development Sub-Committee for the appointment of Mr. Aliyu Zubairu as Head Coach of the National U20 Boys, Flying Eagles. The Cross River chapter of the Trade Union Congress (TUC) says it will not renegotiate the N70,000 new minimum wage as agreed by labour unions and the Federal Government.
