The Bayelsa State Civil Service Commission has announced the dates for the collection of Permanent Appointment Letters by successful candidates from its recently concluded employment exercise.
In a statement signed by the Permanent Secretary, Dr. Stanley Sokari, on behalf of the Commission’s Chairman, candidates are directed to appear at the Commission’s office in Yenagoa according to their respective local government areas.
The collection process is scheduled as follows:
Thursday, September 4, 2025 – Brass and Nembe Local Government Areas
Friday, September 5, 2025 – Ekeremor and Ogbia Local Government Areas
Monday, September 8, 2025 – Yenagoa and Southern Ijaw Local Government Areas
Tuesday, September 9, 2025 – Sagbama and Kolokuma/Opokuma Local Government Areas
The Commission emphasized that only candidates who received official text messages are eligible to collect their appointment letters. They are also required to present a valid means of identification alongside both the originals and photocopies of their academic and professional credentials.
The move is seen as a major step in consolidating the state government’s employment drive and strengthening the civil service workforce.
