Hon. Solomon Young, a renowned elder and Chieftain in Ekeremor local government area in Bayelsa state has voiced his admiration for the leadership of Senator Henry Seriake Dickson in Bayelsa west.
“The chieftain while with other Ekeremor and Sagbama Kinsmen at Senator Dickson’s abode in Yenagoa, asserted so much credence to the Senator who currently represents Bayelsa west at the national Assembly Abuja.”
State reporters revealed that Senator Dickson have sponsored and supported several progressive bills that aims at improving lives of people, encourage entrepreneurship, technology advancement and sustainability of the human resource. Example of some bills under course are: the provision of a federal medical centre, provision of federal college of education etc, all in Baypelsa west senatorial district.
Also, Senator Dickson supported the bill for the establishment of the south south development commission (SSDC), where he clearly informed Nigerians of the differences between the NDDC and SSDC; that the NDDC was established on resource base and covers for all oil producing states like Imo and Abia in East, Ondo in West, Bayelsa, Delta, Rivers, Edo, Cross River and Akwa-Ibom states in South. He argued strongly that the SSDC be established to present and address the challenges of the south south region just as we have, the South East Development Commission, South West Development Commission, North East, North West and so on.
Hon Solomon offered prayers of good health and divine sustainability for Senator Dickson, that he shall continue to support him in prayers to achieve complete success in his endeavour.
