The Bayelsa west representative at the National Assembly, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, has admonished for positive leadership at all levels of authority.
He made the call in Yenagoa while having an interactive session with constituents from his senatorial district, on 2nd November, after the Bayelsa state annual thanksgiving, that he enjoined Governor Douye Diri and People of Bayelsa at the state’s ecumenical centre, Yenagoa in appreciation to God.
Senator Dickson reigned as Governor in Bayelsa state from February 14 2012 to February 14, 2020, as the first Governor to serve complete two terms and successfully handed over to Governor Douye Diri on February 14, 2020.
Dickson’s administration showed serious commitment in closing the gap of infrastructural deficit in the state, by embarking on several signature projects to make Bayelsa state enviable.
While having the session with constituents, Senator Dickson said:
“I have continued to submit his voice in support of a review of the Nigerian constitution to allow for a peoples constitution that appreciates all resources, ethnic groups, tribes and differences of people, which brings unity, justice and progress.”
On issues of leadership and fellowship impact
He said, “I have also live my life helping people to become successful, those following me should take the steps. So, in strong terms, i encourage those in authority to lead positively.”
Meanwhile, Senator Dickson has provided solar lights to power communities in Ekeremor and Sagbama local government areas such as, Agge, Aghoro, Bulou-orua, Toru-orua, while he has informed the community heads of other communities in Bayelsa west senatorial district to be expectant.
