The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, on Monday night hosted a strategic meeting with key members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at his official residence in Abuja.
The meeting, which commenced around 8:40 p.m., quickly moved into a closed-door session.
Among those in attendance were the PDP National Secretary, Senator Sam Anyanwu; National Vice Chairman (South-South), Chief Dan Orbih; and former Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom.
Also present were former Abia State Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu; former Enugu State Governor, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi; former Rivers East Senator, George Sekibo; as well as several zonal and state party chairmen.
Details of the discussions are yet to be made public as of press time.
