Youths of Bayelsa state have taken to the streets of Yenagoa, the state capital, to express gratitude to Governor Douye Diri for the peace and Infrastructural development enjoyed in the state.
The Youths comprise various groups, government and non governmental bodies from the eight local government councils in the state under the prosperity youth coalition that is led by Mr Doubara Komokou.
State reporters revealed that Bayelsa youths protested peacefully and converged at the State’s Government House, where they were received by Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakp, Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State on behalf of the Governor.
Ewhrudjakp thanks the peaceful conduct of the youths and for supporting the government in bringing peace and development in the state. Emphasising that the government is open to creating more infrastructure and positive engagement of the youths.
In another development, the Bayelsa state All Progressive Congress (APC) staged a massive solidarity work in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The state’s Chairman of the Party, Dr. Dennis Otiotio emphasized that the current period is a planting season for President Tinubu’s government, with the harvest season of progress forthcoming.
He called on Nigerians particularly Bayelsans to support President Tinubu’s renewed hope agenda, that the days of national prosperity and development are ahead.
