The honourable commissioner for youth development, Bayelsa state, Hon. Alfred Kemepado has declared that his office is always open to fresh intake of ideas, for the wellbeing of youths and overall development of Bayelsa state.
The declaration was made yesterday when he received in audience youths of Toru-orua community in his office on a courtesy visit.
Leader of the youths, Comr Dennis Egbemo, thanks the commissioner for his open door policy. He congratulated him on his appointment as commissioner, saying, “Toru-orua youths are happy that a resourceful youth leader that is known to be effective, proactive and accessible is now in charge of youth development in the state.”
Comr Dennis Egbemo who is the planning committee chairman for the Toru-orua youth festival billed for 1st October 2024, also invited the commissioner and appealed for partnership with the Bayelsa State ministry of youth development.
The commissioner, Hon Alfred Kemepado rounded up by expressing gratitude to the youths for finding time to visit him. He equally appreciated their long relationship with him as youths of Toru-orua community. He assured that his office is open to the youths every time and that he will support and also attend the festival scheduled for 1st October in Toru-orua community.
